About Me
About Me: Text
I am a licensed psychologist in both New Jersey and New York with clinical experience in trauma work, developmental and health psychology since 2002.
I've completed my post-doc and worked at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School’s Department of Family Medicine and University Behavioral Healthcare’s partial hospitalization program. I earned my Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Toledo and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude, from SUNY-Binghamton.
In 2010, I established my private practice and collaborated with TMS physician Dr. Paul Gwozdz to focus on helping and healing TMS patients. I am very motivated by my patients' ability to overcome this hardship.
Today, I also work as a volunteer Clinical Assistant Professor at Rutgers University and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry and Family Medicine. There I teach and supervise medical and psychiatry residents as well as doctoral psychology interns.
Also, I have presented internationally and nationally in the areas of client anger, alexithymia, violence, short-term psychodynamic therapy and resilience.
